Derived by crossing the ‘fragrant’ Catpiss strain with the Indica-dominant, Rare Dankness #1, Dank Commander is a 70% Indica hybrid strain.  Reports from growers operating in Colorado’s legal climate state that Dank Commander is a vigorous plant that flowers in 8-9 weeks.  The strain produces large yields of dense, strong-smelling buds – Rare Dankness themselves advise legal growers to use trellis or other support to prevent the plants damaging their own branches under the weight of the buds.  The bouquet can be quite difficult to manage – citrus, diesel/fuel, pine and skunky notes make odour control non-optional for legal cultivators. 

Colorado’s medical patient community have reported a very Indica-dominant high, great for pain relief, appetite stimulation and general relaxation.
