Extraction Screens, presses and sifter kits are designed for making your own plant extracts at home without the use of extraction solvents such as CO2 or butane.
Using the dry sift technique to harvest plant extracts has become increasingly popular in recent times. The technique is much faster than conventional methods such as cold water extraction or solvent extraction, and causes a lot less mess.
Simply place your dry plant material onto the top screen and move around with a rigid plastic card or scraper. As the plant matter breaks up, the tiny holes in the screen will allow trichomes and crystals to fall through onto the inner screen, but keep the rest of the bulky plant matter on top. The fine micron mesh only allows particles of certain sizes through the screen, so the end product is always perfectly refined.
