Capulator Seeds Have Landed At PureSativa

PureSativa is delighted to welcome one of the most respected names in modern cannabis breeding: Capulator Seeds.

The first delivery will include 13 carefully selected releases spanning Capulator’s history. At the centre of the collection is the original MAC—Miracle Alien Cookies—alongside the limited-edition MAC anniversary box set, modern MAC hybrids, Cap Junky crosses, old-school gas selections and Capulator’s first deeply personal feminised seed projects.

Capulator is not a breeder who appeared during the latest wave of fashionable genetics. His story stretches back three decades, built through practical experience, community knowledge-sharing and a commitment to testing his work before attaching his name to it.

Who Is Capulator?

Capulator’s journey began in 1996 with a homemade hydroponic system, several Northern Lights cuts supplied by a mentor and a rapidly developing obsession with cannabis genetics.

Long before Capulator became a commercial seed brand, he was known within online growing forums for sharing knowledge and helping other cultivators solve problems. His reputation developed during an era when credibility was earned through participation and proven work rather than social-media marketing.

That philosophy remains central to Capulator Seeds. New crosses are evaluated in Capulator’s own garden, and the breeder’s name is only attached to genetics he considers worthy of release.

Even Capulator’s public appearance reflects this focus on the work. He is known for attending events wearing glasses, a false beard and an oversized baseball cap—a disguise that allows him to move through the crowd while keeping attention on his genetics rather than his identity.

The Story Behind MAC

No introduction to Capulator would be complete without the story of MAC, short for Miracle Alien Cookies.

The genetics originated with a Colombian line crossed to Starfighter. In one of the cannabis world’s most unlikely breeding stories, the resulting seeds were accidentally left inside a pocket and passed through a washing machine.

The recovered seeds were placed into damp paper towels, and several initially appeared to germinate. One by one, however, the young seedlings failed. Only the fifteenth plant survived.

That lone survivor became known as Miracle 15.

Miracle 15 was a male, so Capulator paired it with Alien Cookies F2. The resulting cross—Alien Cookies F2 × Miracle 15—became Miracle Alien Cookies, better known throughout the world as MAC.

The famous clone-only MAC 1 selection was found within these original seeds in 2015. Its exceptional resin coverage, distinctive structure and unusual range of creamy, fruity, sour and gaseous aromas helped establish MAC as one of the defining cannabis genetics of its generation.

MAC has since appeared in countless breeding projects, but the original genetics remain closely associated with Capulator.

Original MAC Regular Seeds

MAC Original Regular Cannabis Seeds provide collectors with access to the original Alien Cookies F2 × Miracle 15 pairing from which MAC 1 was selected.

Capulator describes the original MAC population as remarkably varied. Different expressions can include creamy sour black-cherry yoghurt, tropical fruit, gas, tennis-ball aromas and unusual outlying characteristics.

Growth rates and physical expressions can also vary considerably across the line. That diversity is part of the attraction: these are not seeds created to imitate MAC 1, but the original genetic population from which that exceptional selection emerged.

The MAC 10-Year Anniversary Box Set celebrates a decade of one of the most influential modern cannabis hybrids.

Several of the incoming releases explore MAC and Alien Cookies through different genetic directions.

Eastside MAC

Eastside MAC is a collaboration between Capulator and cup-winning breeder Leafdoctor.

The cross combines Eastside OG with the original MAC line, bringing together Eastside OG’s gas-heavy character and MAC’s distinctive resinous, creamy and complex genetic background.

This is more than a routine MAC cross. It represents the meeting of two established breeding programmes, making it especially interesting for collectors who follow collaborative releases.

Milk of MACnesia

Milk of MACnesia, also known as MoM, combines Alien Cookies F2 with Milk MAC.

Alien Cookies itself descends from Alien Dawg and Girl Scout Cookies, providing an important connection to the genetic foundation of the original MAC.

The resulting profile is described as an unusual combination of earth, berries and citrus. MoM should appeal to collectors looking for a different interpretation of the Alien Cookies and MAC family.

Vanta Black

Vanta Black crosses Alien Cookies F2 with Goat Gas F2.

As its name suggests, this is one of the darker and more aggressively aromatic releases in the collection. The breeder describes expressions combining pungent rubber, menthol, musk and heavy gas.

Vanta Black retains an Alien Cookies connection while moving decisively away from the sweeter side of MAC. It is likely to be one of the most interesting options for collectors drawn to powerful gas-led profiles.

Miracle Grow

Miracle Grow uses the same Miracle male involved in the creation of the original MAC.

A mother created from Scott’s OG and Blockhead was pollinated by Miracle—Capulator’s Colombian × Starfighter male. The resulting profile moves through acrid tropical fruit, rubber cement and what the breeder unusually describes as “department store” notes.

Miracle Grow provides another opportunity to explore the influence of Miracle outside its famous Alien Cookies pairing.

The incoming collection also contains several modern hybrids centred on candy, orange, citrus and Cap Junky genetics.

Terpulator

Terpulator pairs Platinum Lemon Cherry Gelato with Cap’s Frozen Oranges.

The combination is expected to produce strong candy and citrus aromas, combining the contemporary appeal of Lemon Cherry Gelato with the intense orange-oil character found in Cap’s Frozen Oranges.

The breeder also highlights the line’s visual appeal and powerful aromatic finish. For collectors interested in modern candy genetics without losing Capulator’s selection work, Terpulator is an obvious place to start.

Coolio Beans

Coolio Beans combines Cap Junky with Cap’s Frozen Oranges.

The male used for Cap’s Frozen Oranges required two years of selection. It was chosen as a sturdier expression of Freezerburn carrying the powerful orange-oil aroma associated with Orange Juice Bud.

Pairing this carefully selected male with Cap Junky creates a sativa-classified hybrid built around modern resin genetics and concentrated citrus character.

Caps Crunch F2

Caps Crunch F2 is based around Crunch Time and Cap Junky.

Crunch Time combines MAC 1 with Fruit Pebbles OG before introducing Cap Junky. Capulator then produced Caps Crunch F2 through an open pollination involving several of his preferred male and female selections.

Because this was not based on one narrowly selected pairing, collectors should expect meaningful variation within the population. That diversity makes Caps Crunch F2 particularly interesting as a genetic exploration of MAC 1, Fruit Pebbles OG and Cap Junky.

Old-School Gas and Complex Fruit

Not every incoming Capulator release is centred directly on MAC or Cap Junky. Big Chillz and Black Pine Reserve introduce some older and more unusual genetic combinations.

Big Chillz

Big Chillz crosses Big Buns with a selected Chillz male.

Big Buns combines Gorilla Glue #4 with Big E OG × MAC. Chillz, meanwhile, brings together Freezerburn and Pakistani Chitral Kush.

The resulting profile mixes strong gas with unusual berry-vitamin notes. It is a complex combination in which Gorilla Glue #4, OG, MAC, Pakistani Chitral Kush and the Freezerburn line all contribute to the genetic background.

Black Pine Reserve

Black Pine Reserve is an indica-classified cross of Black Lime Reserve and Pine Cone Jones.

This is an intentionally old-school release. Its profile is dominated by sharp sourness, gas and pungent lime, with large expressions and considerable variation across the population.

Capulator is refreshingly honest about Black Pine Reserve. Its appeal is not based on the highly polished visual presentation associated with newer genetics such as MAC 1 or Cap Junky. Instead, the value lies in its powerful aroma, scale, vigour and the opportunity to explore less fashionable but highly characterful genetics.

Capulator’s First Feminised Seed Projects

Most of Capulator’s catalogue has traditionally consisted of regular seeds. Lion Strength S1 and Lion’s Tooth mark an important development, bringing two feminised releases into the incoming PureSativa collection.

Lion Strength S1

Lion Strength S1 is one of the most personal projects Capulator has ever released.

The original Lion Strength pairing combined Super Lemon Haze #5/150 with MAC 11—a male described as the genetic twin brother of MAC 1.

Capulator’s Super Lemon Haze was also his father’s favourite plant. Each year, his father would cultivate several of them beside the river and preserve enough of the harvest to last until the following season.

After his father passed away in 2023, Capulator planted several Super Lemon Haze × MAC seeds in his ashes. From the resulting plants, he selected a particularly greasy expression carrying a powerful lemon-peel profile.

The variety was named Lion Strength because that is the English translation of his father’s name.

The selected female was used to create Lion Strength S1, Capulator’s first major move into feminised seed production. Its profile centres on lemon candy, greasy citrus and cream, with some MAC-influenced expressions introducing black cherry and the distinctive tennis-ball-canister character associated with Capulator genetics.

Lion’s Tooth

Lion’s Tooth crosses Lion Strength with a 1997 Sweet Tooth selection.

The Sweet Tooth side combines Sweet Pink Grapefruit with Blueberry, adding an old-school fruit background to the modern lemon, cream and MAC characteristics of Lion Strength.

The breeder describes Lion’s Tooth as producing strong, vigorous expressions with a sharp combination of lemon and tennis-ball aromas. Occasional unusual expressions may also appear through the MAC side of the lineage.

A Collection Spanning Three Decades

The incoming PureSativa collection has been selected to show more than one side of Capulator.

Original MAC and the anniversary box set represent the genetics that established his international reputation. Eastside MAC and Milk of MACnesia explore that legacy through new pairings, while Terpulator and Coolio Beans move towards modern candy and citrus profiles.

Vanta Black, Miracle Grow and Black Pine Reserve reveal a darker, more old-school side of the catalogue, with gas, rubber, musk, lime and unusual chemical notes. Lion Strength S1 and Lion’s Tooth then bring the story forward through Capulator’s first feminised projects.

In total, the initial collection includes 11 regular releases and two feminised varieties, with packs ranging from six to 12 seeds. The anniversary box contains 18 seeds split between Original MAC and Lion Strength S1, as well as the limited-edition hat.
