Lavender #1 Soma Seeds in regular seed format is an absolute classic old-school cultivar that has shown its is an old-school classic thanks to Soma Seeds. Obviously this has some staying power having withstood the test of time, still being a favourite cultivar for many conoisseurs even today. Lavender #1 was bred by blending a 3-way genetic hybrid originating from Afghanistan, Hawaii, Korea, the USA and Europe into a melting pot.
Since its conception, it's no lie that the Lavender #1 is a crazy exotic looking hybrid that has some of the most intense purple hues that one could imagine nature creating. This is why she was named as she is, thanks to her deep dark purples that are so intense that the leaves even turn almost black at the tips, thanks to the out-of-this-world colour saturation. By packing extreme density, the buds themselves reek of intense spice notes that are similar to the classic Afghani hash smell.
With all of the plants expressing a great ratio of calyx-to-leaves, she is pretty leggy although less so than classic haze strains, but she can easily tower above others in the garden when taken through a lengthy vegetation period.
If SOG (Sea of Green) methodology is used then, Soma advises one should not have a lengthy veg cycle in order to manage the height, it will also do great as a multi-branched plant. Soma advises that one should shorten the veg cycle in order to control the height. This strain will also do well as a multi-branched plant.
