The 5G Strain uses the mother of Gelato 45 x Gorilla Glue #4 x Girl Scout Cookies originally bred by Purple Caper Seeds. They named it 4G due to all the G's in the parents, and Soma added the cup-winning Lavender OG to the mix and coined the result 5G.

The resulting progeny grows with tight bud structures that stack great to give killer yields back. By crossing the 4G with the Lavender OG they get a much better smell and taste back. The end result produces moderate to heavy yields that will typically finish between weeks 8 and 9 of flowering.
