Origins
Crocket Family Farms ' humble beginnings in the world of Cannabis Cultivation began in the early 2000s, a time when the cannabis industry was by far and wide an underground endeavour that was shrouded in secrecy and harder to access than it is in modern times. The founder, David Crockett, is a third-generation cannabis farmer and breeder who has long produced an eclectic range of exotic, fruity flavour profiles. Crockett was driven purely by his love and devotion for Cannabis and his burning desire to create new hybrid strains that people would love, and in time, this would lead to the brand standing out in the increasingly competitive market.
Crockett teamed up with DNA Genetics initially, as one of Don & Aarons' old friends to help bring Crockett's genetics into seed form.Crockett's garden has been home to the strain that has now become known as Tangie for countless years. It was Crockett who first presented the DNA guys with the cut that has gone on to win virtually every competition that it has been entered in. Crockett's own cut of Tangie actually beat DNA into 2nd place at one year's Cannabis Cup in Amsterdam - the only time we can remember a single strain finishing first and second in the same category - Best Sativa.
