How to use the Stundenglass model?

1. Firstly, head over to www.stundenglass.com/register in order to register your device using the serial number located underneath the magnetic aspect of the model that begins with S/N:
   
   
2. Next up, use the provided charging cable to charge your device up fully; the charging port is located on the side of the device. Wait until the circle on the full-colour LED screen is completely green before deciding to use the device.
   
   
3. To attach it to your Stundenglass Hookah / Kompact please remove the magnetic elbow from your Hookah / Kompact and attach the model; you'll feel the magnetic attachment pull the model into place.  
   
   
4. To power it on, press and hold the dial button in the centre of the Stundenglass logo for 3 seconds.
   
   
5. Once it is powered on you can use the dial to select different functions. The selected tab will be highlighted and you can choose a number of options: heating activation, seesion timer, temperature control and settings.
   
   
6. Use heating activation to begin a heating session; however, once a heating session is initiated, the settings are locked. If you need to edit the parameters for your sashing, then simply press the heating activation again to cancel and then move the dial to settings or temperature control to amend to your desired preferences.
   
   
7. Next up is the session time, spin the dial to select your preferred time and press the dial to confirm.
   
   
8. The 3rd option is for temperature adjustments, simply spin the dial until your desired temperature is selected then press the button to confirm your selection.
   
   
9. Once your temperature is reached and the timer starts your session will have begun. Please note for the dry herb tank no temperature selection is required because your model will automatically heat to a temperature configured by Stundenglass for optimum flower combustion.
   
   
10. To edit the settings, go to the settings option and pick your desired parameter to edit. To return to the home screen simply select the settings option again or wait until it automatically returns you to the home screen.

Dry Herb Tank for model

The Dry Herb Tank has a maximum session timer of 30 seconds; this is more than enough time to combust your dry herbal material properly. Unlike many electronic dry material products, the model for dry material is designed for flower and dry herbal material combustion. The dry material tank is also made using a full quartz chamber with a custom-stamped stainless steel heating element and no exposed coil.

The Dry Herb Tank offers up to 80W of power, and the heating time ranges from 15 seconds to 45 seconds. One heating cycle is usually enough to finish your flower, by continually flipping the gravity portion of your Stundenglass will continue your session without reactivating your model. Once the smoke is cleared, if there is still uncombusted material there you can start a new session. In order to clear the tank, empty the material into an ashtray or bin using the loading tool.

Concentrate Tank for model

The concentrate tank for model has a maximum session timer of 1 minute. If you wish to go longer than that, you'll have to start a second heating session after the initial one is complete. The Concentrate Tank features a full quartz chamber to mimic the industry standard dabbing material, it features a stainless steel heating element.

You can select temperatures ranging from as low as 392 degrees Fahrenheit to 932 degrees Fahrenheit for all those looking for a powerful blast of effects. These temperatures are equivalent of 200 degrees Celsius to 400 degrees Celsius, allowing you to experience whatever kind of dab you prefer. The heat-up time ranges from between 15 seconds to 45 seconds.

Settings options

The settings menu allows you to select your temperature unit as Fahrenheit or Celsius, edit your brightness, change the colour display or lock your device for safety. To use the lock function, select lock then power off your device. When you next boot up your model, it will be automatically locked so to unlock it please hold the dial until the LED screen shows a circle completely filled. Then press the button again for 3 seconds to power back on.

How frequently should I clean my device?

The quartz dabbing element should be cleaned with a cotton swab after each use to keep it in top condition; regardless, you should clean your whole device regularly, depending on how frequently you use it. But please ensure your threading and adapter both on the tank and adapter threading and the threading on the bottom of the adapter where the tank connects to ensure proper functionality.

Once your session is complete you should wait for the tank cap & tank to cool down, then remove the cap and fully swab the entire bottom plate & walls of the quartz chamber with the cotton bud. You may need a couple of cotton buds to do this properly.
